Cold mechanics vs. natural warmth.
The idea behind 'Organik' is the fusion of nature and the digital medium.
There are elements in nature that cannot be accurately recreated synthetically,
while conversely, digital elements are not replicated in the natural world.
It was my aim to visually unite the normally polarized elements of the
natural and the digital, by blending natural textures and colors with
conspicuously computer-generated imagery.
Swirls and sweeps give way to pixellated patches
and vice versa, intricately playing with one another to create unity from
conflict. Is it hand-painted? Digitally rendered? Scanned? Photographed?
Drawn? None of the above?
