BT in SF : He's Still Not A DJ But He Can Rock
Click on (most) pictures to enlarge.

Ah, yes, the pleasures of waiting in line at 1015 Folsom. Let the sausage party begin! Remind me again why we do this so often? Oh yeah, because if we pound enough whiskey in the alley beforehand, we don't really care.

the Main room
Big Glowing Rings
Bright Light!
And once inside, when we're overwhelmed by the pretty lights and glowy things and vodka Red Bulls and lasers and mulit-gazillion dollar sound system, we really have no reason to care.

Señor Dave
Sean shows off.
Rock Out With Your Cock Out
And thus is the adventure this week with Dave, Sean (showing off his snazzy hot pink VIP cred) and myself (in the tackiest Hawaiian shirt ever). Three guys with damaged livers not giving much of a damn about anything really. In fact, we'd be too busy being stupid inebriated fools to listen to the music had it not been Global Supasta BT hiding in 1015' new bunker of a booth.

BT works the Crowd
BT lurks in the shadows
BT again...
Combining trance and breaks and house, BT's one of those guys who can get people's fists pumping. Sometimes he has to provide his own encouragement, but there's no shame in that. The club's new booth design only helped to accentuate the "DJ as God" motif that seems to be the big thing in megaclubs. Whatever the effect, all I know is that it makes for good pictures.

On the Decks
Putcher Hands Up!
He can be funny lookin...
On the other side of the glass, it's pretty plain to see that BT is human after all.. Check out that giant CDJ-1000 in his setup. Geez, what ever happened to the little Denons all of us CDJs started with? It just goes to show that the equipment doens't matter.. It's how well you can sing along to the latest vocal house tune you're spinning, like on the far right. (Ok, I really don't know what he's doing, but it's funny...)

Go Baby Go!
Down the Bar
The Way Out.
Even the usually dour go-go dancers were all smiles on this lovely evening. Everybody was having a good time! Except for these people who looked like they just found out that last call was two hours earlier... Alas, this will be a short gallery, if only because you've seen so much of this club before in past pictures... So we now bid you adieu with the return of the Exit sign picture.

The next week is the legendary Felix da Housecat... will we make it? Stay tuned to the Album to find out!
